Superman, the fictional comic book superhero is often regarded as the American Cultural icon. The Superhero was jointly created by Jerry Siegel, an American Story writer and Joe Shuster, a Canadian artist. They sold it to Detective Comics. Subsequently the superhero appeared in television, radio, newspapers and video games and became a hot favorite among children and adults. Superman ruled the American Comic books thereafter and remained a Superhero ever since then.
