Labeled as the “Quintessential Anti-Hero”, owing to the dark shade in his character, Spawn has ruled the world of comics, movies and action figures. Because of the dark side of his character, unlike traditional action heroes, Spawn action figures are a little darker than the others in the same genre. Even then, Spawn is regarded as a superhero, rather a reluctant one.
There is an array of Spawn collectibles, the old ones and the new ones. If you are a die- hard collector of Spawn figures, it is better to look out for the variants, especially those rare variants with rare types of masks, colors and expressions.
In 1994, the first line of Spawn Action Figures were released for the first time and it consisted of six action figures namely the hero Spawn, Medieval Spawn, Tremor, Violator, Overtkill , Clown ,Spawn Alley Playset , Spawnmobile and Violator Monster Rig. They stood apart from the other toys of the time on grounds of detailing, coloring and sculpt. McFarlane figures had extra add ons like spikes, teeth, buttons and claws. The packing was very decent in hard plastic surrounding the figures. All these features made huge markets for the Spawn Action Figures among collectors, including children and adults.
